Halloween, Exams, Grading Exams, and Beer

So, first update: Amanda D left RPI, she went back home :( Much sadness for all of us. Hopefully she'll be back next fall, she has some unfinished personal business to take care of.

Because of this, Amanda C threw a Halloween/Amanda going away party on the Friday before Halloween. The party was kickass! :D We succeeded in getting everybody to the party, and everybody had fun. I took 5 bottles of my homemade oatmeal stout to the party, and all of them were drank. I met a fellow homebrewer in the department, and we traded some ideas. Overall a great party.

I brought my camera, and it was passed around to take blackmail evidence^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hhappy pictures of everybody. The general archive is here.

Here are a few of my favorites:

My Famous Willy Wonka Costume

Also, up by popular demand: the fall colors

This was taken from the highest point on campus that I could get to, and is facing east.

As promised, I wore my Willy Wonka costume to proctor the physics 1 test on Halloween. Overall it was a good result, but the test grades were..............dismal, to say the best. But that was kind of expected, the second test is usually the hardest.

I'm currently working on the math physics midterm, and got a good grade on the quantum midterm. There were some small details that I missed, but overall it was an easy test.

For Thanksgiving I got invited to visit Regina at Stony Brook. That'll be alot of fun, since I haven't been in NYC since I got here. :)

In the meantime, midterms, grading, and studying for the qualifier.

...and drinking the two bombers of pilsner I got from Brown's today. :d

...peace out!

My mom is coming for Thanksgiving so I won't be able to join you and Regina in NY. Also, the grammar police say that drunk is the past participle of drink. Glad you had a good halloween.
