So this is the first post in.....a long time.

Its mostly to announce the faithful retirement of Bz0ne.net. For all of you who used it Back In The Day (TM), bz0ne is going offline within the next few days. The hardware will still be around, just in case anybody had anything that they'd like to keep from it. Those people with major accounts have already been informed.

I'd like to thank everybody who used the server during its tenure, it was fun to provide and it performed its job admirably. Unfortunately, the growth of the Internets have rendered it all but obsolete.

SDSS

So I'm currently in Philadelphia for the SDSS-II (Sloan Digital Sky Survey) collaboration meeting. We're at Drexel University, for a 4 day meeting from Thursday until Sunday. We fly back to Albany on Sunday night.

I'm giving a 5 minute talk on Sunday about "N-body Simulations of Dwarfs," to present some of the results I have for my research.

ALRIGHT CHUMS I'M BACK LET'S DO THIS

That's right, LEEROY!

Here's the deal:

I'm flying in Dec 20th, and will arrive at DIA late in the night, and
then the massive fun and partying will begin! :D

...with a few restrictions.

+ I'm going to spend at least 3 hours a day studying for the Ph.D.
qualifying exams that I take in January. cuz if I don't pass those, it
would be the suck.
+ Christmas (as probably with most people) is booked with family.
+ New Year's is booked at Wolvie and Tim's Massive New Years Party of DOOM (TM)
+ Wednesday bowling will occur :D
+ Pint night @ F&H will occur if a sufficient following is developed.

Other than that, the holidays are here and much fun shall be had.
If anybody wants to schedule a time or announce a party of DOOM call
me (because I will actually have cell reception in
D-town :O ).

I leave on Jan 7th, EARLY in the morning.
